MHRC Opportunities Grant Award MHRC Opportunities Grant

The Manitoba Health Research Council and our partners announce the launch of a Request for Applications (RFA) in Respiratory Research. Within this research area, special consideration will be give to proposals addressing current priority health issues such as H1N1 Influenza A virus, COPD, TB, and Cystic Fibrosis. This RFA falls under the new MHRC Opportunities Grant Program.

The objective of the Respiratory Research RFA is to provide funding opportunities across any of the CIHR four gpillarsh with specific emphasis on respiratory research. Within this research area, prioritization will be given to studies investigating current health priority issues including, but not limited to, H1N1 Influenza A virus, COPD, TB and Cystic Fibrosis.

Deadline for Applications: March 1, 2010

Announcement of Award: April, 2010

Duration of Award: up to 2 years

Award Value: up to $125,000

Number of Awards Available: 2 awards of $125,000 will be available for 2010

The checklist below indicates the steps that an applicant will need to follow to submit a hardcopy application to MHRC for the 2010 Opportunities Grant Program:

Complete an updated online Common CV (to include MRHC specific pages)
Complete and Submit correct # of HARDCOPIES of Application form
Print out and Submit correct # of HARDCOPIES of Common CV as attachment to each application
Note: Your common CV should be printed after the validation stage. You are not required to "Finalize & Submit", as this is required only for eGMS applicants.
CCV attachments must be printed out separately
